It does not involve living organisms and involves the interchange of water between the earth’s surface and the atmosphere via the processes of precipitation and evaporation. Ocean is the biggest store house of water. Evaporation involves the conversion of liquid and solid forms of water into vapours and later form the clouds. Precipitation involves the rainfall, hail, snow, etc. energy for global water cycle is provided by sunlight.
