The Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society was conceived and founded by Mr. Om Pathak, the then District Magistrate of Ghaziabad with support from Sh. Dharamvira and Lt. Colonel Dr. GPS Waraich, the then Principal of DPS, Mathura Road. The Society was promoted and registered under the Presidentship of Sh. Dharamvira, the then President of the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. The present Society has Mr. Om Pathak as the Chairman of the Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society, Sh. V.P. Kaura as the Secretary of the Society, Mr. Anshul Pathak as the Treasurer of the Society, Mr. Rohit Pathak as the Chairman, School Management Committee and Lt. Col.(Retd) Rattanbir Singh as the Director and Joint Secretary of the Society. Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Vasundhara a learning school crystallized on May 3, 1999 at SBC Plaza, sector 15. It shifted to its present locale, Sector 9 Vasundhara on March 29, 2000. The first batch of Class X passed out in 2003 and the first batch of class XII passed out in 2005. DPSGV is an established and progressive Senior Secondary School, a school with a unique history, strong roots and a developmental outlook which enhances the ability of the learner in body, mind and spirit. The school provides a healthy platform which helps the students to scan the opportunities for growth, both at personal and social levels, a school that is known for its distinct culture, policies and practices, a school that represents a vibrancy and sensitivity to the needs of all stakeholders. DPSGV is adaptive to challenges ahead, with flexible yet structured policies and a human perspective. Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad International, set up in the year 2008, is a new project of the Society which will cater to international standards of education. The society is in the process of expanding further in order to reach out to a larger group of residents of Ghaziabad and areas in the vicinity, fulfilling the vision and mission to which the society and school stand committed. The ethos of the school lies in its motto “Tamso Ma Jyotigarmaya” which propels people involved with it towards attainment of high goals envisaged in the school vision.
