St. Norbert Senior Secondary School

St. Norbert School was established on 1 July 2001, with a solemn inauguration ceremony presided over by Bishop George Anathil, SVD, the Bishop of Indore. In the same year, the Catholic diocese of Indore celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Thus, the beginning of St. Norbert School is a land mark in the history of the diocese. In order to meet the consistent request of the Catholic Community, the Bishop decided to setup this school for the children of the locality. Initially the classes were conducted in the Parish Hall with 39 students and a teacher. Later it was shifted to the new school building which was constructed under the supervision of the Diocesan office. The new building was inaugurated on 1 December 2001. In the year 2007, the school was affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Since its inception, St. Norbert is being ably administered by the Congregation of Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.
