Since its inception on 7th May 1966, as the first DAV Public School it has perpetuated the timeless values of DAV with dedication. With the chequered history of 49 years of landmark contributions in the field of education, Hansraj Model School has become the most significant link in the chain of schools started by DAV college Education Trust and Management Society. For the past 4 years the school has consistently bagged the envious position in the topmost west delhi schools by HR C-Fore Survey, speaking volumes of its excellence in multifarious disciplines. A sprawling campus of 8.5 acres encompasses not only lust green lawns, tall trees, huge playgrounds, yagyashala but also smart classrooms, computer labs, Heritage Centre, TT Halls, Conference Rooms and so on. With the student strength of 6300 and staff of 400 Hansraj Model School is indeed a educational force to reckon with. The school empathy with the underprivileged dates back to 1984 with 500 students receiving benefits of free schooling, transport, books and uniform.
